Agency Operations Manager

£35k-£40k, Manchester

This is a newly created role to managing resource requirements in a large and busy creative agency. You’ll be responsible for understanding the agency’s many requirements for external specialist support, working closely with senior people in the agency’s creative and operations teams, forecasting upcoming needs and matching that up with the many specialist freelancers and white label companies in your network. Your remit will also include keeping track of external resources availability, meeting with and adding new freelance specialists and white label companies to your little black book, ensuring that when external support is needed you can resource the right person or company for the project. You’ll need strong admin skills as you’ll be managing timesheets, invoices and purchase orders for external suppliers, tracking all expenditure on freelance resource. You’ll need good understanding and experience of design studios, able to identify the correct skill-sets for the agency, and excel at maintaining strong relationships with external suppliers, ensuring that the right resource is available at the right times for the agency. Your background could be varied but we’d anticipate you’ll have previous agency experience.
