We’re working with a Global Marketing Agency looking for someone to help implement their business development activity. The primary aim of the role is to attract new clients, increase revenue, and enhance agency positioning and industry reputation, working closely with the MD and Head of Business Development to deliver the agency marketing programme and take the lead on operational aspects of day-to-day marketing and business development activity. The type of contracts they are bringing in will be 6-7 figure with global businesses, many of whom they’ve already got relationships with so it’s not a cold BD role, it’s taking advantage of already established relationships and previous history to ensure repeat business opportunities. Any marketing agency experience would be beneficial or a background in commercially led, B2B business development roles, and the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll have excellent comms skills, including writing proposals, bids, RFI/RFP’s, credentials, case studies, blog posts, newsletters and other relevant social content. You’ll plan and manage marketing campaigns, including production of requisite marketing collateral, overseeing the marketing budget, and managing the awards calendar coordinating and composing award entries. Part of your remit will be ‘Horizon Scanning’ to identify potential new markets and clients, and strategizing and delivering the appropriate marketing to successfully support Business Development and Pitch activities.
