For a long time we’ve had conversations with agency Account Handlers in the North West about the lack of training and learning opportunities available for them. There seems to be meet-ups and events for almost every other agency discipline apart from Account Handling. After thinking about this for a while, we’ve decided to do something about this! So here’s introducing “Handle This”…
Handle This is, we hope, the first of many events for the agency account handling community in the North West. Get 6pm – 8pm on Thursday 18th July in your calendar! We’ve booked a city centre venue, a highly experienced guest speaker and ordered the beers/prosecco, now we hope that Account Handlers will come and join us! It doesn’t matter whether you’re new to your career or very experienced, or what sector you work in, we’d love you to come along for this inaugural event.
Each event will feature a key speaker, Q&A’s and an opportunity to chat with fellow Account Handlers, where you can exchange war stories, tips and ideas!
Our guest speaker is Delyth Parsons, founder of Plenary. A Psychology graduate, Delyth spent several years in agencies rising from Account Manager to Client Services Director, subsequently joining the GM Business Growth Hub as Head of Marketing and Engagement. Plenary works directly with agencies to help them achieve growth and specialises in Account Management Training.
We’ll also be talking to you about what you want from this event. We’ve a long list of the types of things account handlers tell us they’d love help with and we want you to drive the conversations.
