Creative Campaigns and Branding

May 28 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Hosted by Jake Welsh, Principal Creative Consultant at Dept Agency

Consumers are exposed to up to 10,000 adverts every day, so how can brands stand out in an overcrowded marketplace? Join Jake as he delves into what separates a company from a brand and how to apply the ethos of ‘human-first creativity, crafted by data’ in your work as a designer.

Jake has a passion for the art of creative storytelling. With a background in web design, Jake founded and oversaw an experience design agency in Manchester for 13 years prior to joining Dept in 2019. Dept has a team of over 1500 experienced thinkers and makers innovating in 27 offices across the world. Jake is playing an active role in refreshing Dept’s global brand, as well as influencing how its creative departments approach briefs by applying the ethos of ‘human-first creativity, crafted by data’.

Priority will be given to students graduating this year. Please include your university, course subject and graduation year.

Zoom details for each session will be emailed a few days before. Please check your junk folders and contact us if you have not received 24 hours before the session.
