Signposting Help for World Mental Health Day

From helping individuals to manage stress and build resilience, to a conversation guide to help initiate a supportive conversation about mental health.   There are other helpful resources out there and for ease we’ve split them into those for Employers and those for Employees:

For Employers:

ACAS  https://www.acas.org.uk/supporting-mental-health-workplace has clear advice for employers on your responsibility and duty of care, along with lots of information around creating a supportive environment, training and creating policies.

The Mental Health Foundation has a checklist employers can use to help them create mentally healthy workplaces  https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/explore-mental-health/publications/how-support-mental-health-work#paragraph-53216

The HSE has guidance on mental health in work and includes the Thriving at Work Core Standards framework https://www.hse.gov.uk/stress/mental-health.htm. There are also toolkits and workbooks for employers to use.

For Employees
